Well, well it seems
Kate Middleton's not the only royal who can cause a fashion frenzy.
Queen Elizabeth II's vibrant suits may not sell out in 24 hours but her purses almost do.
According to British Vogue,
sales of Launer handbags—Queen Elizabeth II's favorite purse
company—have skyrocketed by over 50 percent in 2013. "Sales in colorful
handbags have exploded both domestically and internationally this year,"
Gerald Bodmer, CEO of the brand said. Thanks to this boost the label is
having it's most successful year ever!"

Indeed, this isn't the first time the British monarch has raised
the brand's profit margins. Back in 2011, she was spotted carrying a
custom cream version at the royal wedding. It only took a month for the
label's sales to shoot up by 60 percent. And even though shoppers couldn't get the queen's exact bag, they still opted for similar styles in the same color.
So from now on having "granny style" is a good thing!
